To complement our face-to-face interpretation and written translation services, the Tennessee Language Center provides clear, fast, accurate over-the-phone interpretation, We combine the latest technology with a staff of live language professionals located right here in the United States.

Here’s how it works:

  • Complete and submit the Client Services Agreement form below. Enrollment is free.
  • Dial call 615-258-6686 or 866-336-1289 from any phone, and you will be connected to the call center.
  • You will be asked to give the language you need, your name, the name of your organization and a patient/client identification number (if applicable).
  • The service can be scheduled in advance, or accessed without notice.
  • If you need to speak with a non-English speaker on the phone, the operator will place the call and connect you with the interpreter.
  • If you do not know the language you need, the operator will help you determine the language.

Rates for telephonic interpretation are charged by the minute, with a 20-minute monthly minimum charge when the service is used. (There is no charge in months when the service is not used.)
Current rates are $1.25 per minute.
