Group Foreign Language Class Refund Policy
TFLI reserves the right to cancel a class if fewer than four (4) students paying full tuition are enrolled. If TFLI cancels the class and cannot accommodate you with another class option, your payment will be fully refunded. Credit card transactions will be credited to the original card used. Refund checks will be mailed for cash or check transactions. This process takes 3 to 4 weeks.
Student-requested withdrawals must be made at least seven (7) days before the start date of a class in order to:
- receive a refund less a $25 dollar administrative fee, or
- receive a credit toward a custom class (minimum of 10 hours), or
- use the balance to purchase class materials, or
- transfer the balance to another student or a gift certificate, or
- make a tax-deductible donation to our scholarship fund.
No refunds or TFLI credits will be issued for student withdrawals once classes have begun or for missed classes. For questions about this policy, contact the Foreign Language Department at email@example.com.
We sell textbooks as a service to our students. Textbooks are not a money-making venture for us, and students are welcome to purchase textbooks from other sources. All textbook sales are final, and we cannot issue any refunds. Please inspect books carefully before making a purchase, and be sure you intend to continue with the class. If a student transfers to a different class, we will exchange the book if it is in brand new condition. The student will be required to pay any price difference in the new book.
