Task:
The Pre-Class Pronunciation assignment consists of readings, references, and tasks (in quiz format) covering three topics: Word Stress, Sentence Stress (Prominence), and Phonology.
In an attempt to streamline all TESL Pre-Class Assignments in the near future, we are trying something new with the Pronunciation Task. This assignment will take you to another website. It will not be necessary to download or e-mail this assignment. Instead, you will be able to access and submit it through an online course.
You will receive an e-mail invitation to join the course "TESL at TFLI Pre-Course Pronunciation Assignment". Please follow the instructions in the e-mail and on the TESLacademy.com website for registering and completing the assignment.
Instructions:
1. Add the domain TESLacademy.com to your e-mail program's "Safe List" or "Whitelist". This will ensure that you receive the invitation with minimal trouble.
2. If you have not received the invitation e-mail by January 4, check your e-mail "Junk" or "Spam" folder. If it's not there, please notify aaron@tfli.org. 3. Do not reply to the invitation. Instead, follow the link to register and enroll in the Pre-Course assignment.
4. Complete all three portions of the TESL Pre-Course pronunciation assignment.
You will receive the invitation e-mail on the day of your Orientation.
