Curriculum Coordinator, ESL To Go
Erin graduated from Auburn University with a degree in International Business. After years of working as a legal assistant and volunteering as a literacy tutor and as a refugee mentor, Erin decided to transition into a career combining her loves of teaching and travel. She served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the former Republic of Georgia for two years teaching English at a public grade school, facilitating discussion courses for Tbilisi City Hall, and developing curriculum for English courses for children forced to flee their homes during a recent war. Erin returned to Nashville to begin her dream career as an ESL teacher for resettled refugees. She currently teaches at both ESL to Go and the Center for Refugees and Immigrants in Tennessee.
