We share our classrooms with the foreign language department and the interpretation/translation department.  When foreign langauge class term starts, we may rearrange classrooms to maximize classroom space.  Also, sometimes there are special meetings or events scheduled.

Please notify Thuy when your class outgrows your classroom space and also notify Thuy when your enrollment falls under four students.

Are there exit exams at the end of each level?

This is not a requirement.  Teachers may choose to give exit exams for students' personal assessments. We do not fail students.  Most of our students are working professionals who want to improve their Englsh, so we try to accommodate them as much as possible; however, we may transfer students to different levels if there is a great difference in proficiency.

Am I responsible for collecting payment from students?

No.  Teachers need to refer students to the front desk person or any ESL staff for payment. We may ask you to inform your students of payment and/or pass out registration forms to your class.

What if I take a vacation or need time off?

Just let Thuy know ahead of time (as soon as possible) and find a sub for your class.
