Spanish Instructors, Part-time: Knoxville/Memphis/Chattanooga
NOTE: There are three separate positions open.

The TN Foreign Language Institute is looking for instructors to teach “Absolute Beginner’s Spanish” to groups of law enforcement employees in Knoxville, Memphis and Chattanooga, TN. The focus will include some law enforcement terminology. Here are the details:

· The class will meet one day a week for two hours, for 10 weeks.

· It can meet either on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

· The preferred time for the class to begin is around the lunch hour and before 2:00 pm. They want to be completed by 4:00 pm. It could be 12:00 to 2:00, 12:30 to 2:30, 1:00 to 3:00, etc.

· They would like to begin the week of January 23rd, but there is some flexibility in that.

· The compensation for the class is $30 per contact hour (20 hours), ($600 for the entire class).

Part time Language Instructors for Immediate Hire
 
The Foreign Languages Department at TFLI is seeking Japanese and Modern Hebrew Instructors with experience and immediate availability. The part time position would begin in September and there will be opportunities to teach group and private classes. The Fall term of group classes runs for 12 weeks (skipping the week of Thanksgiving) from September 12 through December 16 and there are openings for beginning, intermediate and advanced classes in these languages on M-TH evenings 6-8pm and Saturday mornings from 9-11am and 11am-1pm.
